Site Theme: An Eternal War is being waged to decide the Fate of the Earth, and all of Mankind.
Site Description: A multi-fandom RPG that allows all characters from any and all canon universes and creative imaginations! A worlds’ greatest heroes and villains are pulled from their various realities and thrown into a strange, sentient city where they are expected to do battle against each other in order to determine the Fate of the World and Mankind.
Main Plotline: The city of Civil is not of this world. It sits apart from the known universe, being blessed with neither true existence nor the ability to evanesce. The ether is where Civil lies, and the ether is where Civil will always be, between eternal life and eternal death.
This purgatory has survived unheard of since the dawn of time. It is a mystery, unknown of by the people of Earth, and unreachable by any means known to Man.
Instead, it is governed by The Primal Forces of the universe, The Forces that watch us, The Forces that guide us in our mortal realm.
To decide the ultimate fate of the Earth; this is Civil's reason for being, why it was created. Whichever side wins, The Light or The Dark, that side will have dominion over the whole of humanity.
To decide this fate, Civil collects a generation's champions, stealing them from their lives to deliver these warriors at its gates. It takes beings of both Light and of Dark, balancing The Forces within its walls. These beings are expected to do battle, to war over the fate of civilization as we know it.
But Civil is more than just mortar and stone. It is a living, breathing entity, alive and conscious of the war being waged upon its streets. Though expected to remain neutral until the war's end, the city has recently broken from its oath of noninvolvement. For reasons unknown, Civil has begun to favor those belonging to The Dark, recruiting a disproportionate amount of vicious and vile beings, upsetting the balance agreed upon so long ago.
To offset this betrayal of nonalignment, The Primal Force of Light has called upon one of it's strongest avatars, a young woman only recently bequeathed with a power she has yet to understand.
In turn, this interference has caused what remained of the treaty of neutrality between The Forces of The Light and of The Dark to be void.
Now, with a vicious new chapter of the war about to dawn, Dani Baptiste, The Light's chosen avatar, must not only learn to harness her power but also rally the splintered and contentious warriors of the Light to her side. A difficult undertaking indeed, for with many of The Light's agents doubting or coveting the appointment of this avatar as the true, flesh and blood embodiment of The Primal Force of Light within Civil City, civil war within The Light's ranks is all but inevitable.
And all the while, the warriors of The Dark are gaining precious ground in the war meant to decide the fate of humanity on Earth.
