Site Theme: Original fantasy
Site Description: We are a Literate - Advanced Medieval Fantasy Role-Play forum. The role-play takes place in another world, specifically in a town called Grimshaw (what the site is named after). Our world contains many magical creatures that we've created based on more traditional magical creatures. Each species has a unique history and characteristics!
Main Plotline: (Current Plot, will change in time)
Grimshaw was a small, peaceful village, nestled in a dark forest full of questionable creatures within the kingdom of Arcova. The people spent their days happily working honest jobs. They shunned the sinful witchcraft of the Vicistudo of the neighboring kingdom of Utaris. All was calm and peaceful, the mundane daily routines, until the livestock began disappearing from their pastures, leaving mutilated animals uneaten just outside of town. There was a dark force at work.
News traveled to a neighboring kingdom, Utaris, of the troubles in Grimshaw. This kingdom was one of the most prosperous, thanks to the Vicistudo who were under the command of the King. Having heard similar stories elsewhere of this creature, the King sent his Vicistudo and soldiers to investigate the town. He believed it to be powerful according to the lore surrounding it, and wanted it captured and tamed.
Now, Grimshaw has been infiltrated by beings that practice the one thing they both fear and despise the most, magic. Vicistudo and soldiers run amuck, taking their food and invading their privacy, all the while searching for the creature inside the forest who has been terrorizing the village, as well as the other fantastical beings.
